Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello has charged Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to co-operate and collaborate with the management of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS) to improve the Internally-Generated Revenue of the state to enable government provide the desired dividends of democracy to the people of the state. Bello gave the charge at the Government House, Lokoja, during a strategic workshop with MDAs organised by the management of KGIRS to chat the way forward for an improved revenue generation of the state.The governor said that government could not provide adequate security of lives and property without an improve revenue generation to complement the allocation to the state.
